Frequently asked questions
How often should filter sand be changed?
As a rule of thumb, silica sand is renewed every 4-5 seasons and glass media can last 8-10. If the water demands ever more flocculant or backwashes become constant, the filter media is exhausted.
Is a variable-speed pump worth it?
For most pools, yes: it filters longer hours at lower power, cuts noise and can reduce electricity consumption by up to 70% versus an equivalent fixed pump. It usually pays for itself within a few seasons.
Can you automate my pool's dosing?
Yes. We install automatic pH and chlorine (or redox) control with probes and dosing pumps, in both private and public pools. It is the upgrade that stabilises water most and saves the most product.
Do you execute projects written by other engineers?
Yes, it is a regular part of our work: we execute projects by engineering and architecture firms with guaranteed results, and suggest detail improvements when paper and plant room do not match.
